Piano Scarf Made With A Crochet Hook

This is a xmas gift for my Brother-in-Law.
I got the graph from here and I made the scarf in sc, with a 5.00 mm hook .
8 ply yarn was used, about 200 gms of white, 100 gms of black.
You could use a thicker or thinner yarn, by following the graph, you cant go wrong with either sized yarn.
I used a 3.50mm hook and sc over the top of the scarf in the area's indicated by the circles on the graph.
My brother in law, now has this scarf laying across his bar! Play the piano while you drink.
I reckon he'll be looking for it to wear, come winter.

I love your piano scarf. I am going to try to make one. Did you use regular (worsted weight) yarn? Just wondering how wide this would be? It looks great though! Thanks for the link to the pattern!!

I used what we call here in OZ, 8 ply, I think it is worsted weight. Width would be about 10 to 12 inches at the most.
